Financial advice, made accessible.

We are building a regulated, automated financial advice service for the UK — for the people the advice market has priced out. One product, done properly, before anything else.

The advice gap

It isn’t that people don’t want advice. It’s that they can’t get it.

23 million

UK adults estimated to be underserved by the advice and guidance market.

Official market estimates, 2025
7 million

of them hold at least £10,000 in investable assets and could benefit from advice, but are not receiving it.

Official market estimates, 2025
31,000

financial advisers in the UK — a number that has not moved since 2023, while the number of advice firms has fallen 15% since 2021.

Adviser market survey, 2026
Advice has not become unpopular. It has become uneconomic. No firm turns away someone with £40,000 because they dislike them — they turn them away because the process costs more than the client generates. So the threshold creeps up, and the people who would benefit most from a plan are the ones who cannot get one.

What we are building

A short digital journey where there is currently a two-month paper trail.

A fact-find that takes minutes

Link a bank account and the picture builds itself. You confirm it rather than fill it in.

Risk assessed three ways

Investment knowledge, attitude to risk and capacity for loss — with the lower of the last two governing, as the rules for regulated advice require.

Tax modelled live

See the effect of a pension contribution, a salary sacrifice or an ISA before you make it, against current UK rules.

A plan that keeps up

A lifetime cashflow forecast that updates against what you actually spend, rather than a PDF that was accurate the day it was printed.

The hybrid model

Automated where it should be. Human where it matters.

Most financial planning is arithmetic, and arithmetic should not cost £2,000. But some situations need a person — and an honest service says so instead of stretching the automation past what it can hold. When our engine finds one, it stops and tells you. Then you choose who that person is.

Speak to a Finlume Wealth adviser

A final salary pension. Drawing an income. A moment in life where a screen is not enough. Our own advisers pick up exactly where the automation stops — with your fact-find already done, so the conversation is about you, not paperwork.

Or anyone else you trust

You are never locked to us. MoneyHelper — a free, government-backed service — keeps a directory of regulated advisers across the UK, and for some situations an independent, whole-of-market adviser is the right call. When it is, we will say so.

The mission

We are not just building a product. We are changing how the profession works.

Shaping the profession
2 minutes · narrated, with captions

The scripts that drive this and every explainer in our prototype are written in-house — the same words will carry the studio-made films when we launch. What you are hearing is the plan, in our own voice.

Beta testing

Real people are testing it right now. Here is what they say.

4.0 / 5

How easy and intuitive the digital fact-find felt to use.

Fact-find ease
4.3 / 5

How useful the live tax simulation would be for pension and ISA decisions.

Tax simulation
4.3 / 5

Preference for the live cashflow forecast over a traditional static report.

Lifetime cashflow forecast
Scores from 24 independent beta testers recruited through a paid research panel and our own waitlist — people with no reason to be kind. Testing is ongoing and these figures update as new feedback arrives. Their suggestions are already shaping the product: the guided intro tour, joint planning for couples and the renter-friendly fact-find all came from tester feedback.

Now try it yourself — and tell us what you think

The same prototype our testers scored, clickable end to end on any device. Work through it to the dashboard and a Give feedback button appears — every answer genuinely shapes the next build, and leaving your email enters you in our £50 gift-card draw. Example figures throughout; nothing real, nothing to lose.

Building in the open

What is real today, and what isn’t.

Real today

  • A working prototype of the advice journey, clickable end to end
  • A defined route to authorisation
  • A founder who does this work by hand for a living

Not real yet

  • Authorisation
  • A live product
  • Any client at all

We are not authorised to provide financial advice, we are not taking money, and nothing on this site is advice.
